Africa Stay secures alternative charter flights to Zanzibar
Africa Stay has secured alternative charter flights to and from Zanzibar with FlySafair. Flights will operate as follows:
Saturday, 25 June 2022, return Sunday 3 July 2022
Tuesday, 28 June 2022, return Wednesaday 6 July 2022
Saturday, 2 July 2022, return Sunday 10 July 2022
Tuesday, 5 July 2022, return Wednesday 13 July 2022
Saturday, 9 July 2022, return Saturday 16 July 2022(Outbound on Safair and return on Global Air)
Tuesday, 12 July 2022, return Tuesday 19 July 2022(Outbound on Safair and return on Global Air)
Normal operations with Global Airways will resume on 16 July 2022.
Africa Stay announced on 16 June 2022, that flights between 18 June and 12 July 2022 had been cancelled due to urgent maintenance.
Flight Centre Travel Experts are in contact with customers to review all options made available as per Africa Stay's policy.
Africa Stay has communicated the following options for affected customers:
Travel on the FlySafair flight, which is a direct charter flight. Additional fees will apply.
Obtain a credit to the value of the original flight booking, to be redeemed against an alternative flight booking.
Postpone travel beyond 16 July 2022. Additional fees may be payable dependent on availability and seasonality.
Cancel a booking and receive a full refund for the air portion.
Receive a voucher for the current value of the holiday, valid for 3 years from the date of original travel.
