Etihad Guest
-
The Etihad Airways Guest program awards you points each time you fly with Etihad Airways. Put your points towards a dream holiday, shopping, or even charity donations.
Membership/Status
Etihad Airways’s Guest program is free to join and offers you four different tier levels that offer you options for earning and spending rewards points. The four levels are:
- Etihad Guest
- Etihad Guest Silver
- Etihad Guest Gold
- Etihad Guest Gold Elite
Moving up the membership tiers requires more flying than with other frequent flyer programs, but also comes with incredible rewards. When you reach higher membership levels, you have the ability to earn extra points and retain or upgrade your status more easily.
Points – Earning & Expiry
Earn rates for points depend on the membership tier you belong to, with your ability to earn points increasing as you move up the levels. Earn rates on flights depend on factors such as the route flown and the cabin class. The earning ratio also depends on the type of fare you have purchased.
You can spend your rewards points on a range of travel benefits such as seat upgrades, flights and excess baggage, or other benefits such as raffle tickets or the rewards store.
Redeeming Etihad Guest Points
Whether you are redeeming your miles to book your dream vacation, exchanging your miles for the perfect reward, or even donating your miles to charity, Etihad Guest can make that happen. You can spend your rewards points on travel benefits such as seat upgrades, flights, excess baggage, raffle tickets or the at the rewards store.

Affiliated Credit Cards
Etihad has several partners through which you can earn points, including linked credit cards (such as Velocity earn cards), hotels, car hire, financial service providers, retail, entertainment and telecommunications. Be aware that there are no credit cards available in Australia that allow you to directly earn Guest Miles, so members will have to opt for a bank rewards card instead.
