The prettiest urban attractions in Kuala Lumpur are the KLCC park and the imposing Petronas Towers in the background. KLCC park is a green sanctuary in amongst the chaos of the city and has plenty of interesting landmarks to keep you entertained. Check out the Lake Symphony music and light show and the impressive children’s playground. 

Malaysia is a conservative country, so you would be well advised to wear modest clothing and keep any public displays of affection G-rated. Be aware of local laws. 

KL is a great destination all year round, but May-July are cracking times to visit due to good weather and fun festivals.

Head up to the Observation Deck and sky walk at the Petronas Towers, explore the KLCC Park below, stroll around the Central Market and Merdeka Square, or jump in a taxi and head to the Batu Caves.
