1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 Eligible Entrant: Any person that is a permanent resident and citizen of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years old at the time of entering the Competition, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document and passport, except any employee, director, member, partner, agent, or consultant of the Promotor and/or any person directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by the Promotor , and immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent, or consultant. "Immediate family members" shall include, but is not limited to; spouse, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, and grandchildren.

1.2 Prize/s: Return flights booked with Flight Centre to the value of R70 000.00 for up to four people.

1.2.1 4 x 7 sets of movie tickets (28 in total) to watch the Paddington in Peru movie showing in selected Ster-Kinekor cinemas

1.3 Promotor: Flight Centre Travel Group Proprietary Limited, Registration Number 1994/000253/07, a company registered and incorporated in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa and includes its Affiliates.

1.4 Winner: An Eligible Entrant who is selected through a random draw and meets all entry requirements.

1.5 Promotional Period: The period during which the competition is open for entries, commencing on 10 February 2025 and concluding on 31 March 2025.

1.6 The validity of the flight Prize will be until the 10th of April 2026.

1.7 Family: Must include at least one adult and one child under the age of 12

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY

2.1 The Prize for the flights valued at R70 000 is awarded to the individual who books a family holiday package at one of our 43 Flight Centre stores.

2.1.1 The Prize for the Paddington in Peru movie vouchers is awarded to the individual who books a family holiday package at one of our 43 Flight Centre stores.

2.1.2 Only one winner will be selected to win one of the above-mentioned prizes

2.2 To qualify and stand a chance to win the flights valued at R70 0000 or the Paddington in Peru movie tickets, Eligible Entrants must:

2.2.1 Book and pay for a family holiday package at one of our 43 Flight Centre stores. The package can be a local or international holiday that must include flights and accommodation or tour or a cruise. Travelling parties must include at least one adult and one child under the age of 12.

2.4 Only 1 entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person may be deemed inadmissible.

2.5 The Winner for both prizes will be chosen by means of a random draw. The Promotor’s decision shall be final.

2.5. The Winner of the flights valued at R70 000.00 will be announced on the 10th of April 2025 and will be notified via telephone and/or email. The Winner will have 48 hours to claim the Prize after the Prize letter has been sent. If there is no response within 48 hours, the Prize will be forfeited, and a new Winner will be chosen.

2.6 The Winner of the Paddington in Peru movie voucher will be announced every week commencing the 14th of February 2025 until the 28th of March 2025 and will be notified via telephone and/or email. The Winner will have until the end of the Paddington in Peru movie run to utilise the vouchers.

2.7. By entering this competition, the Eligible Entrant has read and agrees that the Prize is subject to the Promotor’s booking terms and conditions available at https://www.flightcentre.co.za/

2.8 By entering this competition, the Eligible Entrant has read and agrees that the Promotor may use and disclose the personal information they provide in accordance with the Promotor ’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.flightcentre.co.za/.

3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

3.1.  Eligible Entrants stand a chance to win one of the following prizes:

3.1.1 Return flights to the value of R70 000.00 The flights can either be for domestic or international travel on economy or business class. Flights can depart from any major airport in South Africa.

3.1.2 4 x 7 sets of movie tickets (28 in total) vouchers for Paddington to Peru showing in selected Ster-Kinekor cinemas

3.2. The Competition commences on the 10th of February 2025 and will remain open for the Promotional Period.

3.4. The Winner must ensure that bookings for the Winner and travelling companions are all made for the same date and itinerary. Bookings for the Prize may not be split

into different itineraries. The full value of the voucher must be used in a single booking transaction

3.5. The Prize excludes any transportation to/from the chosen movie theatre and transportation to/from the departure and arrival airport

3.6. Should the value of the flights exceed R70,000, the balance payable will be for the Winner’s personal account.

3.7. Should the value of the flights be below R70,000, no refunds, vouchers or balance will be extended to the Winner for later use.

3.9. The full value of the Prize must be redeemed and utilized by the Winner and travel companions by the 10th of April 2026. Failing this, the Prize shall be forfeited, and the Winner shall have no claim from the Promotor to the value of the Prize.

3.10. The Prize for the flights must be booked by the winner at least 60 days prior to the intended date of travel by contacting the Flight Centre Leisure Marketing Team.

3.11. Any cancellations, no-shows, amendments, name changes made after the flight booking has been confirmed may carry additional costs imposed by the airline carrier. These fees will be fees payable by the Winner and may not be set off from the voucher.

3.12. Under no circumstances can any aspect of this Prize be transferred, amended, extended, refunded or exchanged for cash.

3.13. The Prize is only valid for the person nominated for the Prize and may not be transferred to other individuals.

3.14. Winners of the flight Prize must travel with the same companions booked in the original booking

3.14. The Prize will not be extended beyond the validity period and no exceptions will be made.

3.15. The Winner of the flight Prize and their travel companions must be in possession of valid identification. This may include, but is not limited to, a South African Identity Document, Passport and other supporting documents required for travelling with children.

3.16. The Promotor takes no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize.

3.17. If the Promotor cannot provide the Winner with the nominated Prize for any reason, the Promotor reserves the right to supply an alternative Prize of similar monetary value.

3.18.  If the Winner does not accept any element of the Prize, the Promotor is not obliged to provide the Winner with a substitute prize.

3.19. The Promotor will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury which results directly or indirectly from this competition and/or giveaway, except that which cannot be excluded by law.

4. PROMOTIONAL USE

4.1. By entering this competition, all participants hereby consent that the Promotor has

the right to use their entries, including names, images, and any other content submitted, on its social media platforms and for marketing purposes, without additional compensation.

4.2. Social Media platforms include but is not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and any

other marketing materials or channels used by Flight Centre Travel Group Proprietary Limited, South Africa.
