In Sue at Sea she shared all about her trip and how this once in a lifetime experience turned her into a cruise lover for life. Here are just 8 reasons why she loved the innovative Norwegian Prima:

1. Space, space, space

The most spacious suites & outdoor space Norwegian Prima is home to the brand’s most spacious staterooms and suites. These cabins are ideal for couples, families and other larger travel parties, and there’s an exclusive section of the ship for solo travellers, too – the Studio Cabins offer exclusive access to the Studio Lounge to mingle with other solo travellers.

All of the indoor, ocean-view, and balcony staterooms are more spacious than those onboard any of the vessels in NCL’s existing fleet. Ample use of outdoor areas, glass bridges, infinity pools, floor to ceiling windows and ample glass enhance the feeling of spaciousness – wherever you are on the ship.

2. Ready, set, race - World first 3-level go-kart racetrack at sea: Prima Speedway

The 420-metre Prima Speedway is the world’s first three-level go-kart racetrack at sea. Expect hairpin turns and speeds of up to 50km per hour.

3. Infinity Beach - two infinity pools + epic views

Imagine two glistening infinity pools that seem to merge with the horizon and filter over the edge into the lull of the waters below. Swimming and relaxing here – you’ll never feel closer to the sea!

4. Walk on water - Walk the Oceanwalk bridges

The Ocean Boulevard offers a seaside stroll with panoramic 360-degree views. NCL’s vision with the stunning Norwegian Prima was to offer more outdoor deck space than ever – and she certainly delivers.

Ocean Boulevard will take you as close to the sea as possible without actually having to dive in!

5. The Drop & The Rush - the fastest slides at sea

The Drop & The Rush aboard Norwegian Prima are the fastest slides at sea. The Rush is made up of two duelling slides located at the starboard side of the ship. Plunge 10 stories down! If you’d rather go (slightly) more sedately, the Drop is the world’s first free-fall dry slide, located portside where you can slide down from deck 18 down to deck 8.

6. Find your virtual self - The Galaxy Pavillion

There are over 40 virtual experiences to enjoy in the Galaxy Pavilion. There’s an Escape Room, the first-ever Flying Simulator at sea, virtual golf courses and more.

7. Around the world in 80 dishes - Indulge Food Hall

Sail around the world in 80 flavours as you sample your way through global cuisine in the Indulge Food Hall. Its laidback dining at its best, allowing you to choose how you want to dine – whether it’s from the food trucks in the Latin Quarter, relaxing in a roomy ‘beach’ cabana or feasting on spit-roasted meats at Seaside Rotisserie. Indulge Food Hall is repeatedly named as one of Norwegian Prima’s guests’ favourite experiences.

8. The Haven - the most exclusive address at sea!

Known as the ‘oasis at sea,’ Norwegian Prima’s The Haven is essentially a ship-within-a-ship and is an evolution of the Haven concept currently present on most of the brand’s other vessels. Centralised in a single location at the aft (rear or towards the stern) of the ship – the first time The Haven has enjoyed this prime location – this is where you’ll find the vessel’s most luxurious and exclusive facilities for its first-class guests.
